Boğaziçi Yönetim was founded in 1997 as an affiliated company of the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality to provide facility management services for mass housing, taking on the facility management of areas of common living and common use across 33 provinces, 650 facilities, and 220.000 independent sections. In 2020, we continued to provide our services exclusively to mass housing in İstanbul.

When we took over the facilities management of the Grand Bus Terminal and the Kemerburgaz City Forest, we broadened our scope to include “facility management services.

We also provide cleaning and maintenance services for properties with historical and touristic significance, such as mosques, shrines, fountains, and monuments, as well as city restrooms and traffic lights.

We are thrilled to have contributed to the transformation of the Gtrand Terminal: this terminal in the heart of the city, with 100.000 visitors each day and thousands of tenants and shareholders, has left behind its former state of chaos to become a facility that is not only beneficial to its environment but also fosters a sense of happiness and peace among its employees and visitors. The terminal is much cleaner and neater today. But it wasnt just the walls that changed. With its youth office, driverslounge, library, gymnasium, and music studio, it has become a common space where people spend their time.

This place that people once entered with fear has now become a platform for art and culture, hosting concerts and exhibitions.

The Kemerburgaz City Forest is the first facility we are involved in after mass housing. The facility was rented out to the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality by the Ministry of Forestry in 2012, and its management was turned over to Boğaziçi Yönetim in 2018. After a long period of remaining idle, this unparalleled place was opened to the public in October 2019. Currently, approximately 1500 vehicles enter the Forest each day. On weekends, this figure rises to 7000 vehicles and about 25.000 people per day. This forest, which wasnt of use to anyone up until two years ago, now hosts concerts and festivals.

Mass housing is our founding purpose, and we will remain dedicated to it as long as Boğaziçi Yönetim exists. Our crews frequently visit the housing estates to analyze needs and initiate enhancement processes. Those working in the estates’ facility management undergo periodic training on technical matters and personal development, resulting in improved service quality.

In 2021, Boğaziçi Yönetim started providing its services to student dormitories, a first in the history of the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality. In 2022, we began our operations in new fields, such as renting out the Municipality kiosks, managing the forest camp at Büyükada, and managing the citys groves.
